My name is Ladejobi Oluwabukola. I am a UK-trained professional cosmetic formulator, a scalp and hair health expert, and the Founder of Ten-Q Beauty, Onidiri Natural Hair Salon (Ibadan), and Ten-Q Formulation School.
My journey into haircare began with a deeply personal struggle. For years, my hair was excessively dry, hard, and difficult to manage. Routine combing and styling caused constant discomfort, and my scalp was persistently affected by dandruff and visible flakes. Despite trying numerous products, nothing provided lasting relief or true scalp health. It was a frustrating and at times embarrassing experience.
Determined to find a real solution, I began researching and formulating my own haircare products using locally sourced botanicals and herbs rooted in African traditional knowledge, including dogoyaro and other plant-based ingredients readily available around me. Through careful experimentation and consistent use, I began to see remarkable changes. My scalp cleared, the dandruff disappeared, and my hair gradually transformed becoming healthier, softer, and far more manageable.
As these results became visible, people around me started asking what I was using. What began as a personal solution soon became a shared answer for others experiencing similar challenges.
A few years later, I took the bold step of turning this passion into purpose by creating Ten-Q Beauty a brand dedicated to making effective, intentional haircare solutions accessible to women who had struggled with dryness, scalp issues, and breakage for far too long. This vision later expanded into Onidiri, a professional natural hair salon focused on textured hair care, and Ten-Q Formulation School, where I train and mentor aspiring formulators and entrepreneurs.
Today, my work sits at the intersection of science, tradition, and intention. Through my brands, I remain committed to scalp-first haircare, professional-grade formulations, and education that empowers women to truly understand and care for their hair.
